THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO:

I enjoy shooting stories about different industries that has a large human element in the process. This photo belongs to a collection of images I made about Watermen, who are considered the "cowoys" of the water. This guy focused on oysters on the Gulf Coast of Texas his entire life. I trueley admire the hard work those hands represent.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO:

For 20 years I followed a new program then Govenor Bush implemented in the state prison system. He set aside a single prison unit that was 100% Christian. The prisoners would volunteer for the unit and they would be taught about Jesus Christ for two years. Many woud surrender their lives to Jesus and then were baptised there in the prison as picture here gave them prison freedom. The return rate for these prisoners was 75% less than those in the general population.
