TRUE COLORS

National Geographic featured photographer Kevin Vandivier showcases a set of limited edition fine art prints that target true colors, where patterns meet color and the strongest colors fill the frame. THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO:
One of the perks being the Photo Editor for Texas Highways Magazine, was I got to travel the state shooting photos of some pretty cool stuff. From time to time I would return to shoot what I didn't have time to shoot while on assignment. This image was shot in West Texas and the skulls represent a major win for the Texas Longhorns. Hook'em Horns!

The eyes really are a window to ones soul. I've travelled some rough back alleys in other countries, along with my own country, USA. It's always funny who you might meet in those places. I've learned the hard way to ignore the smooth smiles and sweet tongues. I read the eye's and know immediately if I'm in trouble. The eye's in this fine art print melted my heart!
